I think I interviewed for the same position in Houston,TX. I was asked to go into the field during the week of finals and arrange meetings with high level faculty and gather information about publishing. My background is all medical sales and education. I found out that they were sending multiple candidates into the field to use them to get feedback. I had to take off two days from work and paid quite a bit for parking and fuel, as I visited about 6-7 campuses. I NEVER heard back from the company after second interview. They really liked the information gathered and once it was presented, and received by hiring manager, I never even received an email, letter....nothing. That was a pretty expensive experience.
