Reporting to the Service Commercial Support Team Leader the Service Contract Renewal Specialist is responsible, together with his/her team members, for proactively renewing service contracts to maintain and grow service contract revenue.
Actively contacting customers regarding their installed base or new business contracts is part of the role. You will also support the sales team with Point-of -Sale processes and contract calculation tools. In addition, you will act as a backup for general service-related tasks when needed.

The Service Contract Renewals Specialist will need to quickly build customer rapport and leverage customer relationships and Hach value propositions, thereby moving opportunities to close. Representatives will receive support and guidance from management and other internal departments; however, it is imperative that a self-starter mentality is in place, along with the ability to manage and build their territory.

This position is part of the Service Commercial Support Team located in Tiel. If you work form the office in Tiel you will be hybrid, working from home on Mondays and Fridays, the other days you will be in the office.
When you are working in Belgium, preferably in the Nazareth area, you will be completly working from home.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Responsible for managing service contract renewals by maintaining customer touchpoints
• Engage clients via phone and email by providing quotations, cross-selling, up-selling, new business selling and minimizing discounting where possible
• Review commercial legal terms and escalate as needed
• Populate and maintain the highest standards of data integrity in Salesforce.com (SFDC)
• Collaborate with other Service Sales Representatives and Sales teams to improve processes
• Engage in department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through visual management and countermeasures where appropriate
• Cross-functional interfacing with other commercial departments to leverage the best resources to close business

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A suitable training at least MBO level (administrative or commercial)
• Fluent language skills in English and Dutch and preferably in French.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and preferably with Salesforce and or ServiceMax
• Prior 3 years progressive administrative experience in a business-to-business environment, including experience working with various administrative systems and confident use of PC and software (Office package)

Rapporterend aan de Team Leader Service Commercial Support, is de Service Contract Renewal Specialist samen met zijn/haar team verantwoordelijk voor het proactief verlengen van servicecontracten om de serviceomzet te behouden en te laten groeien. Het actief contacteren van klanten met betrekking tot hun installed base of nieuwe contracten maakt deel uit van de functie. Daarnaast ondersteun je het salesteam bij Point-of-Sale (POS)-processen en rekentools voor contracten. Je fungeert ook als back-up voor algemene servicegerelateerde taken wanneer nodig.

De Service Contract Renewal Specialist moet snel een goede klantrelatie opbouwen en gebruikmaken van bestaande klantrelaties en de waarde propositie van Hach om opportuniteiten succesvol af te sluiten. Je ontvangt ondersteuning en begeleiding van management en andere interne afdelingen; het is echter belangrijk dat je beschikt over een proactieve, zelfstandige werkhouding en het vermogen om je eigen klantenportefeuille te beheren en uit te bouwen.

Deze functie maakt deel uit van het Service Commercial Support Team in Tiel. Wanneer u vanuit het kantoor in Tiel werkt, werkt u hybride, 3 dagen op kantoor en thuiswerk op maandag en vrijdag.

Indien u vanuit België werkt, liefst in de omgeving van Nazareth, werkt u volledig van thuis uit.

Functievereisten:

• Minimaal een passende opleiding op MBO/ bachelor-niveau (administratief of commercieel)
• Vloeiend in Engels en Nederlands, en bij voorkeur ook Frans
• Ervaring met Microsoft Office en bij voorkeur met Salesforce en/of ServiceMax
• Minimaal 3 jaar relevante administratieve ervaring in een B2B-omgeving, inclusief werken met diverse systemen en vlotte omgang met pc en software (Officepakket)
