About the Role

For a forward-thinking creative agency in Amsterdam, we are looking for a talented Visual Designer. In this role, you turn user insights into exceptional digital experiences. You design both functional and visually stunning website components that perfectly align with user needs.

You combine creativity with technical expertise to deliver user-friendly designs that truly make an impact. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and internal marketing and development teams to create UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs, and final products — directly improving user experiences.

This role is ideal for a designer with a refined sense of style and a passion for premium design quality. You’ll have full creative ownership of your projects, and your ideas will be valued and encouraged. Our clients love design — you’ll be building web experiences at the highest level.

About You

• You translate complex user needs into clear and effective design solutions.

• Skilled with Figma, Illustrator, and Midjourney.

• Experienced with user research, able to turn data into intuitive, engaging designs.

• Strong communicator — both client-facing and within cross-functional teams.

• Flexible, decisive, and always user focused.

• Organized, proactive, and confident in leading your own projects.

For Senior Candidates

• Experienced in leading larger, complex design projects.

• Proven ability to guide design processes from concept to final delivery.

Personality:

Design isn’t just your job — it’s your default mode. You have strong visual taste, are naturally curious, and always creating. High energy yet grounded. You take ownership, communicate clearly, and stay organized without overcomplicating things.

Education:

• Academic background in applied arts (graphic design, art direction, visual communication, art history).

• Strong preference for graduates from top design schools (Italy — especially Milan, UK, or the Netherlands).

• Bonus: specialization in digital design or motion.

• You’re familiar with AI tools for visual creation and research.

• ️ We’re not seeking self-taught designers with short online courses — this position requires a true design education and refined aesthetic judgment.

Experience:

• Strong background in creative agencies or design studios.

• Comfortable with branding, rebranding, and art direction, not just visual execution.

• E-commerce experience is essential.

• You’re familiar with AI tools for creating visuals and journeys

• Open to exceptionally talented juniors and top-tier graduates, but ideally 2–5 years of experience (medior level).
