The Operate Division is responsible for ensuring the operational limits of the electricity grid 24/7, including power, voltage, current, stability and frequency, both in the Netherlands and across the European power system.
We are looking for a communication advisor for the Operate division. Operate plays a key role in the execution of European agreements and regional coordination. The department manages products and processes such as grid models, transmission capacity, balancing services, market products and settlement. In addition, Operate develops and operates robust market processes, procures ancillary services for balancing and congestion management, and oversees both pre and post operational activities to help maintain a secure and reliable electricity system.
For this role we seek an energizing colleague that knows how to set the right tone, has experience in working with different internal and external stakeholders and has an interest in the challenges of the energy transition. Your goal will be to foster therelation with our customers by drafting and executing communication plans, organising (online) events, and writing, editing and publishing content with a focus on market communication. Main external target audiences are TenneT’s market parties, such as Balance Responsible Parties (BRPs), Balancing Service Providers (BSPs) or Congestion Services Providers (CSPs). But also internal alignment with colleagues from other units and/or advice to senior management on communication strategy is part of your role. Moreover, you will be responsible for organising the execution of TenneT’s Customer Satisfaction Survey.
You will be part of the Management Services team within the Finance and Performance department. The team consist of twelve colleagues whom all have different focus areas, but you will work close together with two communication advisors that each have a different focus in topics.
