innocent was founded by three friends from uni called Rich, Adam and Jon. They tried proper jobs but didn’t like them so they started thinking about opening a business together. They didn’t know much about it but they were sure they wanted to do something that could help people take care of themselves. So they bought £500 worth of fruit, squashed it into some bottles and took them to a small music festival in west London.
Since then, we’ve grown to be one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies. And although we got famous by selling smoothies, they’re not the only thing we make these days. We now blend just about every fruit under the sun into juice, kids drinks, sparkling stuff and more.
We also have big dreams to keep people, our communities and the planet healthy. It’s the reason we became a B Corp, why we committed to go carbon neutral by 2025 and why we’re working our socks off to make farming more sustainable through our Farmer Innovation Fund.
And we’re in the very healthy habit of donating 10% of our profits to charity each year (and we don’t have plans to change that any time soon). So far, we’ve given away over £5 million and helped over 1 million people.
Our culture’s really important to us, too; our Culture Team’s unofficial purpose is to make sure our people can work better and go home happier. They do this through all sorts of silly things like snack trolleys and scavenger hunts, as well as serious things, like free mental health support and access to loads of learning and development resources.
To sum it all up, we’ve done quite a lot since we started in 1999. Unsurprisingly, most of that is down to the people who’ve joined us along the way. And we want to do lots more – that means we need more brilliant people to help us. We’ve got career opportunities across the business, including in areas like sales, IT, Business Delivery, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and People.
