How’s the Deloitte comp looking.?!
KPMG recently hit me with the PIP or Career Transition option and I chose the latter. Gave me 90 days to search for a new role and I still get paid out my salary until my separation date. Something told me a few months ago to start looking for an exit. The same week as the HR call, I was already interviewing in the final round. Received the offer last week. Happy to go! 😁✌🏽 Manager - 179K - MCOL Job offer: 180K base 45K bonus ESPP - 15 percent discount 4.5 percent 401K Unlimited PTO
Those who are job searching (either while employed or unemployed) — what’s working and what’s not? I’ve been really trying to network on LinkedIn, get referrals when possible, and hunt down hiring managers and recruiters. But boy, it’s a tough game. And exhausting. What’s working for you?
Do y’all wait to notify your current job until the new job’s background check is completed and you receive your official start date? Or do you go ahead and notify them and give your two weeks when you sign a written offer letter?
Google S&O or PE ops? Both AI-related roles. Google base + bonus + stock is slightly more than PE base + bonus, excluding carry which is long dated. Google is closer to frontier AI, PE ops is value creation.
