I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (Londen, Engeland) in Jan 2013
Interview
Fairly simple process, which involved easy-medium competency questions and a minor maths question. The overall interview wasn't really challenging, it was held in the staff canteen. Although fairly easy, i advise practicing ready made questions.

Interview
Very quick...interview spoke too quickly clearly rushed. Sat in a tiny room with an eat sleep dream Aldi manager. Few questions asked why you want to work for aldi etc etc.

Interview
First you'll get a group/individual (dependent on number of interviewees) with the area manager. He/She will ask a few questions based on application/CV, then ask a few questions about you and your homelife. the area manager then photocopies your P60 and informs you that you have a second interview with your potential store manager.
Your second interview with the store manager will start with a few basic questions while he tries to build a rapport with you. He gives you all the literature and a numeracy test. The interview ends with a work trial where you have to work a pallet/cage in your best clothes!! The store manager usually gets in touch with you within 24 hours and gets you back in store to sign your contract and other forms needed for your employment. You will then receive your uniform and that's it. Welcome to hell!!!
