Interview
I applied online on the Sunday. It's quite a lengthy application so set yourself a good hour to one side in order to complete it. If you want the job enough you'll do it. The application consists of the usual questions about yourself and also 2 multiple choice quizes based on how you would react in different circumstances. A day later on the Monday I received an email inviting me to an interview. I went to my interview on the Friday. I had an informal chat with the area manager, he asked me about hours, why I was leaving my current job and why I want to work at Aldi. It went well and he arranged for me to come back and do a in store experience (2 your trial shift). The following Tuesday I went in and did my trail. We did some stacking, tidying, used various machinery, everything that we would be doing whilst working. I thought it went well and was told I would find out if I was successful or not in the next few days. Fast forward to Saturday, I got an email telling me I had been successful and I got the job :)
My advice is be enthusiastic, speak to other staff members if you come across them in the break room. Don't shy away, be confident and enthusiastic!!!!
Group interview where you had to role-play scenarios about working in the store. Hard to actually get a word in and it was online which made it even more difficult.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
