I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Melbourne) in Jul 2016
Interview
Applied online, about a week later received an email to pick a time slot for a face to face group interview. In the group interview we spoke about ourselves, they asked us what we knew about the company, and gave us a general math test about calculating change. After the group interview was asked to come in again to walk around the store, where I was questioned on things around the store, like what is wrong with how this product is sitting on the shelf, how long would it take to run this pallet, what hazards are there etc. Then I had a third and final interview where I met the store manager. That same day was offered the job.
Group interview where you had to role-play scenarios about working in the store. Hard to actually get a word in and it was online which made it even more difficult.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
