I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at ALDI (Claremorris) in Sep 2021
Interview
The interviewer explained what Aldi is about, how it works and the requirements of the Store Assistant position. I was asked the most common questions like "Tell me about yourself" "Why do you want to work for Aldi?" "What is your previous job experience?" etc. .
At the end he gave me a math problem sheet which had somewhere about 15 questions with sequence pattern numbers. There were a few options to choose from for each answer, and only one of them was the correct answer. I think I had somewhere 5-15 minutes to solve as much as I could. He took up the sheet and told me that I will get an answer if I got accepted in two to three days.

Question 1
I was asked the most common questions like "Tell me about yourself" "Why do you want to work for Aldi?" "What is your previous job experience?" etc. .
Group interview where you had to role-play scenarios about working in the store. Hard to actually get a word in and it was online which made it even more difficult.
Had a group online interview and I felt it was very hard to get any point across and it felt very over the top and the process seemed too long for what the job actually was
Started as a group where we were educated on the history and benefits about working at ALDI, and were asked what we think working at ALDI is like. Seemed like a good company with fair pay. The individual interview itself only asked availability.
