The actual individual interview was very fast and in depth, its a good idea to prep answers to general interview questions before heading in. It was only 5 minutes with what seemed like the store manager- however at the end it was revealed that the last interview would be with the store manager- so I honestly don't know who i had been interviewing with.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Sunbury) in Nov 2024
Interview
Phone interview, then one on one interview with store manager soon after. Them once I was successful a zoom call with austio to approve physical strength. Good communication but all done though head office hiring department not store manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot of scenario questions wanting know to know what I would do in certain situations or wo during what I've done if I have experienced previously.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Northampton, Engeland) in Jul 2025
Interview
Very chilled interview, mainly speaking about my availability and how physical and fast-paced the work would be. We spoke about my CV, and out of the 20 questions I had prepared, he only asked me 2 of them. I was only there for 15 minutes. Got through to the next stage, the store experience day, I was shown around the store and warehouse, we spoke about what the job would involve, with the emphasis on how physically challenging the work would be.
Got an email, I was unsuccessful two days later, just a generic one saying 'due to high volume of applicants, we're unable to give personal feedback'
After four stages, I think feedback is deserved, and I was disappointed with Aldi.
