Group interview: Talk to the person next to you, learn about them and then introduce them to the group/say why they should work at ALDI. Then took out onto floor and asked questions about what you noticed what different from ALDI VS other retailers. Pretty hard to get a word in. Then was told about job expectations. Then had a super quick personal interview and easy maths test.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Geelong) in Jul 2018
Interview
Multiple stages. The whole area was looking, so I got an email to be in a round of group interviews. They were interviewing all day but my part was fairly short. About 12 of us went into a room, general questions about where we lived/why we like Aldi. Do your homework, dress well. After that a few of us went on to one on ones. Remember what they say during the group stage, we also had a short and easy math test. Then I had a 6:30am store tour followed by an interview with the area manager. Then I had a medical evaluation. Finally I had my last interview with a different store manager from the group interviews. Took about 4 weeks all together, with about a week between each stage.
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Londen, Engeland) in Jan 2019
Interview
Really enjoyed my interview. 1-1 was brilliant and walked out feeling brilliant. As soon as I got home I received an email to say I has got through to the Store Event. Really enjoyed this, the team made me feel very welcome and kept saying how well I was doing and that I’d fit right in. Had a conversation with the manager after and he made me feel like I’d got the job, discussing hours and contracts and he winked and said I would definitely hear in a week and not to worry. A week passed and I heard nothing, a week and a half passed and I received an email to say I was unsuccessful and to try again in a year.
