I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALDI (Congleton, Engeland) in Jul 2018
Interview
First it is online based so you have to complete a personality test and a situational judgement test which was straight forward. After you are invited to an assessment - this can be one to one or a group. For me it was a group assessment with only two people. They ask you to do a maths quiz and then ask you to answer a series of questions, which I was confident in and thought of many relevant answers to their questions. They then give you time to ask them any questions for which I asked 3, I was confident with my interview however it was very nerve-wracking because I wanted the job so much, I knew what it entailed and why they pay the staff a lot, I knew I'd have been a great team member but I gave it my best shot and unfortunately I got rejected which is devastating to say the least.

Interview
One to one interview followed by a store experience interview for 2 hours. The one to one interview was really nice, it was just getting to know the manager and the manager getting to know you. Gives you a chance to ask questions which I think is always useful.

Interview
Held in a coffee shop because the store is still being built so fairly relaxed. Interview only lasted about 20 minutes. Had to do a basic maths test, (why does my brain always freeze when faced with these things?). I was asked a couple of questions and was given the chance to ask my own, so asked how many would be likely to be working at any given time on the shop floor and what they're looking for in an employee. Lovely lady interviewing who really put me at ease.
