Interview
Process took 1 week from the online application to the group interview. I felt the group interview went very well I stood out far more from the other candidates however I did not even progress to the next stage, whether this was because I am a young person or due to my lack of experience i do not know as they did not even have the decency to feedback why. I feel this was very unjust as I felt I was a good potential employee but was not given a chance.

Interview
Complete waste of time. I applied online. Two weeks later, I was invited to a 'Group Assessment' along with 18 other applicants. Although, we were the last group so there were probably about 80 applicants in total going for 4-6 positions. We were asked to do two maths tests (5 minutes each), which I believe I did quite well in. We were then split into groups of 4-5 and given a scenario where we had been in airplane crash and asked to rank a bunch of items based on how important they would be in that scenario (map, clothes etc.). Essentially, it was a waste of time and I regret even attending, especially after reading some of the other reviews on Glassdoor. It's basically a lottery to see who gets an interview because I don't see how they choose the right interview candidates based on that group assessment.

Interview
1st stage was a group interview. There were 6 of us. We were asked to pair off into twos and find out about eachother to present the other person to the group. After everyone had their turn the manager began talking about Aldi and its history and asking some questions about this.
