ALTEN Mechanical Engineer (for AM Applications) interview questions

I got a random call one day from someone at AlLTEN saying that they saw my profile online and were interested in interviewing me as they had a project that would be perfect for my skills. I had a first phone screening interview with this person who then arranged a phone interview with the colleague responsible for the project. The second phone interview was more technical and had some personality questions. In the end I got good feedback and I was told that if they get a project matching my skills that I would probably get the job. This really confused me because the first person said that there was already a project fitting my skills. About a week later I got an email saying that I was successful in the job interview and that I would be contacted If a job project matching my skills appeared. It's been 2 weeks since then and I've had no other contacts. Overall it was a bit confusing as one person said one thing and the other a completely different one about the job position, but the interview was quite easy and the interviewer was really nice.
