ASICS Product Creation Co-Op interview questions

Very unprofessional and embarrassing. Here's the timeline: 1/6: Applied for internship 2/10: Requested for interview 2/18: Interviewed with recruiter 2/21: Emailed a followup 3/5: Informed I made it to next round 3/19: Interviewed with manager of position 3/20: Follow up #1 (w/ recruiter), no reply 3/24: Follow up #2 (w/ manager), no reply 4/15: Follow up #3 (w/ both), no reply by this time I figured I was just ghosted and didn't get the position 4/24: Follow up #4 (w/ both), immediate reply: "Sorry we picked someone else." In my opinion, I was very qualified for this role (possibly overqualified). Few days later, I see on LinkedIn the person who got this position personally knows the manager I interviewed with, unrelated to work. They had no relevant experience... Felt like my time was wasted, and I was disrespected in the end.
