I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Adyen (New York, NY) in Feb 2021
Interview
met with multiple members of sales team. Great team. Not a good fit for me though. We ended up deciding it would be best if I moved in a new direction.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adyen in Sep 2020
Interview
The process took 4+ weeks. I had calls with six different people in the company and the interaction was absolutely pleasant. An amazing bunch of people, seemed geniune, humble and surely put in effort to get to know me. No cliche interview questions, no behavioral questions. Such a relief from usual monotony of interview style. The only weird thing is the communication regarding case study. They tell you in initial email that you are free to handle case study in any way you want. I picked a prospect client and planned a sales pitch scenario and let recruiter know in advance. But I got an email back from the recruiter saying choice of client is okay but I should prepare slides. So, I made a presentation with two key pain points of the client and how Adyen can help solve them. After the interveiw, their feedback was that they were expecting presentation to be simply about Adyen and not about solving client's pain points. I didn't understand how going an extra mile was viewed as a negative. The other feedback was that they were expecting it to be more interactive. I agree with that. I did screw up there. So, yes, overall seems like a good company and interesting interview process. While reading the other reviews here, it seems like the case study is a hit or a miss part, noone seems to clearly know what is expected in the case study. I wish I could provide more information but I was given only these two points as a feedback.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Adyen (Sydney) in Apr 2018
Interview
Applied online and took them 2 months to schedule an onsite interview. Poor office location which was far away from public transport and lack of parking. Seems like they were uninterested in hiring as most question hardly scratched the service and no response requesting feedback/following up.
