The interview process went smoothly overall, but during the final technical interview, I was asked to explain a Spark concept to someone with no prior experience using Spark. Given the prompt, I avoided delving too deeply into the technical aspects, focusing instead on a high-level explanation. Unfortunately, I was later informed that my responses were deemed ‘too shallow,’ which led to my rejection

It was okay. They rejected me at the technical team interview. Because my profile didn't match. I am exp in data engineer+mlops. They wanted more on data engineer side and not with infra background.

Interview
The interview process at Adyen is very long and disorganised for what it is. The different people seem nice but at the end the process is tedious and will take months. First there is a call with the recruiter. There is a high chance the recruiter will never respond to you after the interview or you will be reassigned to a different recruiter. If they like you, you will move on to a technical interview with some randomly assigned people from a similar backround/role as you, who will decide if you can continue. Then follows a timed Hackerrank assesement to waste your whole day, along another 2 hours of presentation of that work on another day. As if that's not enough, there is yet another technical interview with potential team mates. Last but not least, beware of the final interview with a senior business member. Do not take it lightly as they might decide from a 30 minute call that you are not good enough to join the club.

What challenges did you face in your previous role
The interview process was not good, since the recruiter not even asked about my introduction. Also, her questions were not good in terms of evaluation of the candidate. She sent some instructions before the interview to prepare but that is not useful.
