I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Airbus (New Delhi) in Jun 2019
Interview
Airbus INDIA
1st call: HR, basic profile questions
2nd call: HR, Some technical questions
3rd call: Interview scheduled with the hiring manager, it was a good conversation and a learning experience. She knew what she was talking about. I went to this interview limping with a sprained ankle because it was supposedly a great opportunity and they wanted to wrap this up quickly. The process took 3 weeks.
4th call: Asked if I could join in a week and for salary slips
5th call: Scheduled another interview with senior HRs sitting out of Bangalore
Interview round 2: Met the hiring manager who told me they were interested in me and after our previous conversation, she has thought of ways they can expand the JD for me.
The interview with the HRs was vague, with no structure.
After the interview, I followed up with the HR, they completely ghosted me, did not take calls or reply to mails. I understand it is not an obligation for recruiters to reply to candidates. But as a nice gesture, after taking so much of their time and their personal data, it is imperative they show an ounce of respect. I don't know about Airbus internationally, in India it has only left a bad taste in my mouth. The dislike is not because I didn't make it, it's mostly because of complete disregard of another person's time and effort.
