I applied online. I interviewed at Albert Heijn in May 2023
Interview
Extremely bad. First call by HR who had no clue if the position was for BI & Reporting or for dev ops. She said better to ask with Technical Interview Panelist which was the first round. In the technical interview, I was informed that the lead would join. When I actually joined the call, the lead was accompanied by another person and was a surprise to me. The panelist were not friendly and to my surprise, they were looking for both BI & Reporting as well as dev ops. They were not clear what kind of work would come up and skillset that is needed. HR had informed me that it may be a hands-on round but had never informed exercise would be on what language/technology. Was surprised again when they asked me Python programming and to open a Python editor. Luckily I had it on my system. But this is not the right was of giving heads up and surprises.
