Amazon Internship interview questions

I had the opportunity to interview with Amazon, and the process began with a preliminary round in which I had to give a PowerPoint presentation about the company's values and was informed about a stipend of 110,000 INR along with a relocation offer of 400$. Following this, we were required to take an online assessment the next day at a designated computer center, where I encountered two questions, along with some behavioral questions related to Amazon. In the online assessment, I successfully solved one of the coding questions but was only able to partially complete the second one. Despite this setback, I received an interview invitation just two days later. In preparation for the interview, I focused on sharpening my data structures and algorithms skills and brushed up on typical HR questions. During the interview, I was presented with both of the coding problems again and managed to solve them. However, the interviewers also challenged me to optimize my solutions further, which proved to be a more challenging task. Unfortunately, I couldn't optimize the first problem to their satisfaction. Ultimately, I received a rejection notice about three days later. It was disappointing to hear the news, especially when some of my friends made it through the process. Out of the initial 50 shortlisted candidates, only 14 were selected for the internship positions.

A primeira etapa foi uma simulação de um dia de trabalho, com questões sobre priorização de atividades quando há mudanças de prazo e perguntas sobre funcionamento de trechos de código e complexidade. A segunda etapa consistia em entrevistas de perfil e técnica. A entrevista de perfil consistia em citar casos de vivência com base em um dos 16 princípios de liderança, previamente atribuídos. A entrevista técnica consistia em duas perguntas a serem resolvidas em live-coding, explicando a linha de raciocínio.
