Interview
Received an email that I had been selected for an interview, with an ETA of 1 week to be contacted by the hiring team. After 1 week, went onto the website and found that I WASN'T actually scheduled for an interview, but taken out of consideration. Sent multiple emails to the Recruiter that advised me of the interview to get some clarification with no response.
INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Florence, NJ)
Interview
Submitted resume online, recruiter contacted me a week or so afterwards. Recruiter set up a phone interview, which consisted of two behavioral questions and a straight forward math flow problem. Following the phone screen, Amazon invited me to an on-site interview. During the on-site interview, I interviewed with 4 employees, one being the HR manager who failed to introduce himself before firing off 5-8 straight behavioral questions. Of the 5-8 questions, he may have asked 2 follow up questions which to me shows a lack of analytical thinking and an inability to truly assess the talent of the interviewee. Another interviewer tried to modify the math problem I'd previously done but ended up miscalculating the problem himself and I had to politely correct him. A third interviewer came off as a very nice person, but I could tell she had no clue what I was talking about once I started talking specifics about my tech background. Amazon relies heavily on it's leadership principles (in theory) and pretends to only want "the best." I've interviewed and hired a couple hundred people throughout my career and it was very obvious to me that the interviewers were far from exceptional. They are likely decent workers, but not the rock stars Amazon claims to want. I'm assuming most of the true genius is on the tech side and the manufacturing leadership, that pretends to be technical are no better than the manufacturing leadership at any of the top 500 companies globally. The interview made me truly miss the Fortune 50 company I'd previously worked for. Despite all of the above, the experience was positive for no reason other than the fact that I now know more about Amazon FCs.

Tell me about yourself, followed by several behavioral questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2017
Interview
Very long process involving multiple interviews. A few online tests. over a period of 6 months. But this is very typical here. Keep giving string meetings and stay on top of the recruiter. It is worth it once you get the job.
