Interview
Interview process consisted of two telephone interviews back-to-back with two different people. Interviews were 30-45 minutes each. Interviewers were current managers at Amazon fulfillment centers, each with about ten years of experience. Their background was in software development but they had transitioned into management roles. Operations culture is casual in terms of dress but metrics and data are taken very seriously. They subscribe to the Toyota Way method of continuous improvement. Interviewers asked me to elaborate on points in my resume.
