The Amazon SDE interview process begins with a recruiter screening to assess your background and role fit. Then, you take an Online Assessment that includes coding problems, debugging tasks, and a work-style test based on Leadership Principles. If shortlisted, you attend one or two technical phone interviews focused on DSA and behavioral questions. The final stage is the virtual onsite loop with multiple rounds covering coding, system design (for some roles), and deep Leadership Principle discussions.
