I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Express in Mar 2016
Interview
It was a pleasant process. I applied online and then had a phone interview with a recruiter. A few days later I met the hiring manager and a colleague for a 1 hour panel interview. A week later I sat down with the hiring manager's Director. Everyone is incredibly professional and proud of American Express. Questions are mostly behavioural, and it comes as no surprise that 'Walk me through your resume' came up in each round.
I'm hoping to hear from them soon, but the timeline isn't that clear. No response to my thank you notes, so we will see.

Interview
Phone interview was quick. Recruiter was friendly. In-person interview was average - behavioural questions were fairly easy. Technical was harder. Never heard back. Followed up but didn't hear back.
