I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Boston, MA) in May 2016
Interview
Casual all we did was discuss all the projects that I have worked on in the past. I have no internship experience so they just wanted to know what my thought process was through certain projects. They also talk about their own project and you should definitely talk about how you can apply your skill to it.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Analog Devices
Interview
1 hour, phone screening, person was nice and ready to listen, reviewed my resume. Got the offer very next day. Went deep into my skill set, few questions were tough others were normal.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Analog Devices
Interview
Three round interview. First interview asked about the general behavior questions (i.e: What are your biggest strengths/weaknesses? Describe a situation where you were in conflict with someone and how did you handle it?). Second and third interview asked basic circuit technical questions related to transistors, capacitors/inductors-resistor circuits and opamps. Interview lasted 3 hours at their branch office.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Draw the current and voltage graph about the output terminal of an opamp in an inverting negative feedback configuration if there is a resistor between the Rin and Rf resistor given the input voltage is a square wave. What happens if the non-inverting and inverting input terminals are flipped?
