I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2026
Interview
It was full on technical. He asked about circuits only and how to test whether a circuit works or not. He also asked about capacitors and inductors and normal resistor values.
The initial phone interview process was highly technical, focusing on in-depth questions and problem-solving, and it lasted approximately 30 minutes, providing a concise yet challenging evaluation of skills and knowledge.
I applied online. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Sjanghai, Sjanghai) in Mar 2026
Interview
This was by far the worst interview experience I have had in my career.
Despite being a global company, the entire interview was conducted in Chinese, which was highly inappropriate and completely unexpected for an international organization. One of the interviewers kept their camera off for the entire session, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional from the start.
The tone of the interview felt more like an interrogation than a professional conversation. There were repeated intrusive personal questions that had little or nothing to do with the role itself. For a company claiming global standards, this was completely unacceptable.
The technical questions were also surprisingly immature and superficial, showing little understanding of what actually matters in analytics or business intelligence work. The process seemed poorly structured, outdated, and lacking basic respect for candidates.
Overall, the experience reflected weak interviewing standards, poor interviewer training, and a concerning company culture. I would strongly advise candidates to think carefully before entering this process.
