I applied online. I interviewed at Appirio (Buffalo, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
The interviewer was extremely rude and questioned my experience, even going as far as to ask me outright if I'd ever had experience with business analysis. Even if someone doesn't have the exact number of years of experience that is needed for a position, a more professional approach in handling an interview is a small ask.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Appirio (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2016
Interview
Phone screen, and then a series of interviews conducted via Google Hangout. There is a culture interview that is mostly behavioral based to see how you might fit in at Appirio, and then you have to complete a technical exercise. From there, there is an interview to discuss how you went about completing the exercise.
After that, you have an interview with the hiring manager. It was at this part of the interview process where I was denied. The hiring manager didn't feel that I was a suitable candidate, even after having positive reviews from the first three interviews.
Overall seems to be a good company, and they really do appear to value company culture and their employees. It seemed the hiring manager had almost total control over the decision however.
Thank you for providing your feedback regarding your experience interviewing with Appirio. We strive for it to be a thorough process that allows you to evaluate us as we are evaluating you to ensure there is mutual alignment. We do this by interviewing technical/skills as well as alignment to our culture. I would be happy to discuss your experience further and please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly, Kristin Langlois, Sr. Manager, Recruiting at klanglois@appirio.com. Thank you for your time in our process.
