I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
6 interviews It started with the hiring manager, then it went to two potential peers for the panel interviews, and last interview was with the hiring managers, manager. I thought I was going to get an offer but instead I got a call from the recruiter and then the hiring manager saying that the role is now on a hiring freeze and that the work is going to be loaded on to a current team member.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple in May 2023
Interview
No recruiter screening call, 1 round of 45-min video call with the hiring manager and 1 round of 3x 45-min video calls with different managers. Mainly situational and "tell me about a time" questions. The recruiter advertised how they tend to move fast in the hiring process and mentioned he would get back to me x days after the interview (which he did after my first round of interview). However, the recruited totally ghosted me after the second round. I was really hoping such a prestigious company could show some transparency and respect to their candidates who invested their time and interest in the interview process...

Question 1
How do you handle a bug that is found last minute? Tell me about a time...
Process took about a month. Recruiter was very responsive throughout the process. Met with the hiring manager and multiple people on the team. Questions were moderately difficult and assessed my thought process as well as how I would handle roadblocks and conflicts.
