I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (Singapore) in Aug 2021
Interview
Got contacted by an apple recruiter. I was asked to fill up a questionnaire first. A few weeks of silence and after a follow up email they said they didn't like my answers so I got rejected. But next day the recruiter contacted me again and said it was a mistake and all good we can proceed. Weird. We scheduled an interview to Saturday morning, something like 6am because it was the only available slot on their end. Well, okay. Interview consisted of 1 easy problem + a conversation about my experience and basic questions. Pretty easy interview I'd say. Guess what's next? 4 weeks of silence of course. I sent 2 follow up emails but still no response. Worst interview experience ever. Even tiny startups showed more respect and really cared about my time during interviews than Apple. I had FB interview at the same time and it's totally different experience, much much better than in Apple, hey guys at Apple pay attention, learn how things work at FB. Would never interview again.

Question 1
how https/tls works, what differend http response codes mean, etc
Was given a coding challenge which was difficult and had to finish it within a week. After the coding challenge there were 4 interviews 3 technical and one managerial. 2 out of 3 coding interviews were really pleasant with good engineers and in they were terrible, they had no idea about what they were talking about.
