I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BDO (Tallahassee, FL) in Oct 2018
Interview
Overall, my interviews were pretty standard. The first preliminary interview was very conversational. I met with a partner for an on-campus interview and he just asked me to walk him through my resume, which was pretty easy and then the conversation veered off from there.
About a week or so later, I received an email to schedule a Skype interview with someone from my preferred location. This interview was very much informal, as he really just spoke to me as if it were a regular conversation. No real interview questions were asked. At the end, he told me that he would let HR know that he recommended me for the position and basically implied that I should expect to receive an offer from them soon.
Another week later, I received an email telling me that I needed to apply to the intern position for that office. I responded back saying that I was only interested in a full-time position. The recruiter responded and told me that only an intern position was available for the office that I was applying to and that I could either be considered for the intern position or apply for a full-time position in another location. This was very frustrating because I had told both interviewers that I was only interested in a full-time position for that specific location. Also, the first interviewer (who was a partner) told me that despite what positions may be available on their website, they generally recruit for all offices, so I should be fine.
This whole process just wasted my time, as they could have told me this from the beginning. I was only interested in that one location and they basically told me that the position that I was applying for was no longer available after already having done two interviews. There seemed to be an overall lack of communication between everyone, as I constantly had to repeat my preferred location and reiterate that I was only interested in a full-time position. I already had an offer from another firm, so I wasn't too concerned, but my experience with them has left a bad impression for me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a little bit about the experiences listed on your resume.
From my experience, BDO's recruitment process moves quite quickly. HR often contacts shortlisted candidates on short notice. For instance, test results may be released on the 2nd, while the HR screening interview is scheduled on the 4th. This means candidates need to be prepared and flexible, as there is usually little time to prepare between stages.

Question 1
The interviewer first asked me to introduce myself in English. After that, they asked why I wanted to become an auditor and what interested me about the auditing profession.
The interviewers are helpful and fun, and very responsive. It is a group interview and 3 people in a room with 4 interviewers, it started with an online assessment 6 questions, include logical thinking, and few problem solving questions and after that interview session started.
