Really smooth interviews for both rounds (one from the director and one from the hr). The more important round is definitely with the director, and the director was pretty chill . Overall great experience!
details about resume, why interested in the position, past experience, type of music interested in, what did you study in school, what do you like about the company, time availability
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BMG (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2015
Interview
I got a reference from a common contact. He sent them an email including my resume and my college's requirements for 14 weeks 40 hrs/wk. They ended up emailing me for an interview after seeing my resume and listening to my projects on soundcloud. When I arrived, They brought me into an office with two people and started asking me a little about my experience. They were pretty friendly, but still a little intimidating. They told me what I would be doing, and let me know I was way overdressed for a regular workday (I was in a button down, dress pants, and dress shoes).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Their most important question for me, since they were starting a new studio, was "do you have routing experience, and troubleshooting audio signal?"
