Scheduled an interview with the recruiter. Few days later I recieved an automated rejection for the position. On the day of the call 10min before, the recruiter canceled the call without a follow up or explanation. Extremely unprofessional recruiters are a major red flag for any prospective candidate.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Backbase (Montréal, QC)
Interview
spoke with multiple people over different touchpoints. Started with an initial interview, followed by second and third interview, and then assignment (Case presentation). Was impressed at how available backbase people were available in the process to answer all my questions, and support me in my case presentation.

Question 1
Q: how do you generate interest from top-level executives?
Q: how do you handle objections?
Q: why do you want to work at backbase?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Backbase (Boise, ID) in Dec 2020
Interview
I had a total of 3 interviews. First meeting with the team manager, then with the RVP. Both of these conversations were around my background and how I would apply my professional experience towards my potential new role. Then I was advised that my final test would be an hour long case presentation in front of the senior sales staff where we would role play a Backbase product demonstration. Be prepared to put in sufficient research time and also sharpen your rebuttal skills prior to the meetings. My preparation ultimately taught me a ton about the product and made me even more interested in the company.
Also be prepared for very direct feedback. It will only make you better in the long run.
