A current employee, whom I had went to University with, recommended me.
I had an informal video chat with one of the recruiters. Just a quick 10-20 minute chat to gauge if you'd be a good fit for the company.
I then had to do a code challenge. As I was applying for a front end role I had to create a small Angular application, I had 7 days to do so, at home. Other roles have different challenges.
Once submitted and looked over, I was then invited for the final interview. It was in two parts, about an hour each, the first was with two senior engineers, with the main focus being around my submitted code challenge, then some other questions about your technical area/previous projects. The second was with two managers, which was on you as a person, your journey, your experience, strengths/weaknesses, how you would approach certain scenarios etc.
Both parts allowed plenty of time for you to ask them questions as well. All in all they were very comforting and open. Came across very passionate of what they do and have a belief in the company.
The whole process was very quick. Maximum two weeks from initial recommendation to offer, and was over Christmas period.
