I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Backbase (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2021
Interview
It went really smoothly, I got a take home exercise that demonstrated my abilities in Angular, ES10 and design principles. I needed to have in complete in 2-3 days so I had the time to run some Jasmine unit tests and get a good completion
I applied online. I interviewed at Backbase in Apr 2021
Interview
Overall the interview process was reasonable and fair. First there was an interview with the recruiter, who was supportive and informative. After that went well, there was a technical interview live with an engineer on the team, where we resolved a coding problem together. The last interview was with the hiring manager, where I could share more about myself to see if it was a match with the team and culture of the company. Everyone was kind and fair - overall much better than many other companies interview processes.
