Mostly motivational and behavioural questions. No technicals as such. Very straightforward, interview happens after one day, and AC is next stage. Once again it’ll be motivational and behavioural questions alongside other activities.
HireVue, online aptitude tests, numerical reasoning (lots of time pressure) and motivational questions eg Why Barclays, why IB, what division, etc
Not much more to process, but a long wait for a decision from them
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays in Mar 2026
Interview
I had several conversations with a recruiter (Randstad Barclays UK ) and was eventually scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. I was also provided with preparation materials, which led me to spend significant time.
However, just two minutes before the scheduled interview, I received an email stating that the position had already been filled.
This experience was very disappointing, particularly due to the timing of the cancellation after considerable preparation and the lack of prior communication. A more respectful approach would have been to inform candidates earlier or avoid scheduling interviews once the role was close to being filled.
