Hackerrank java challenge for a REST API - A /hotel GET endpoint, listing all the hotels in our system. - An H2 in-memory data source containing hotel inventory. - A basic service implementation layer to retrieve information from the hotel and city inventory. - Example implementations of functional tests (testing a bit of logic) and integration tests (testing an HTTP endpoint in your API).

There were four rounds which took about 3 months to complete (from the moment I applied until the job offer): Recruiter - rather informal chat with the recruiter about motivation, experience etc. Life coding - A Hackerrank life coding session (1hr) with two engineers. They were quite helpful. Don't expect any help from the editor you have to use, glorified notepad. They left the session open for another hour so I built the complete solution after the interview which was highly appreciated. System Design - With two different engineers. Also quite helpful. Engineering Manager (direct manager) - About the team, culture, functional description of the things they are working on. Also a couple of STAR interview questions: how do you behave in different situations, what are the things you are proud of, etc.
