I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boomi (Cincinnati, OH) in Sep 2025
Interview
I networked to decision makers through mutual connections and LinkedIn.
From there, I connected with the hiring manager, who introduced me to the GTM Recruiting team.
I had two 30-minute conversations with the hiring manager:
First, we discussed my experience, why I wanted to work at Boomi, and the team’s current state (including where I could add to culture and execution).
Second, the manager shared their leadership style, team expectations, and future vision.
Next, I met with a peer of the hiring manager. We talked about common challenges in the role, the future of the AM function, and how my background aligned.
There was supposed to be another round with the hiring manager’s boss, but the process was accelerated to a final round mock discovery after I shared I had another offer. I ultimately self-selected out before that round, as I had accepted a different offer.
Overall impressions:
The new leadership team is experienced and even-keeled.
They set high expectations around sales execution excellence, which is very attractive as a seller.
I would recommend exploring opportunities at Boomi. AI is the future, and Boomi is at the center of it.
