I attempted the Cadence written test during campus placement. The questions were mainly technical, focusing on RC circuits, diodes, and other electronics concepts. The paper tested fundamental understanding of core electronics topics, and the difficulty level was moderate to high.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A circuit problem with three op-amps: the first was a voltage follower, the next two were inverting amplifiers. We had to calculate the output of the last op-amp for a given input.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cadence Design Systems (Noida) in May 2025
Interview
Logical reasoning along with basic DSA + OOP asked. Practice all DSA topics. ECE interviewees are expected to know Digital electronics. Basic CS is a bonus. It was moderately difficult.
I interviewed at Cadence Design Systems (Bengaluru)
Interview
First questions based on the projects mentioned in the resume, then few RC and RLC circuit questions, they expect proper reasoning for the solution even if the final answer is wrong and finally one aptitude question
