Interview
I applied online and a recruiter randomly called me out of the blue for a phone screen. I was not prepared but made it to the in-person interview with the hiring manager. They did not show up, so we ended up having our call on the phone. All went well, but I was told they were already late in the interviewing process with another candidate. I never received a follow up email afterwards. It felt like an huge waste of time. Even if I didn’t make it to the next round, a courtesy email would’ve been appreciated, especially after I showed up for an on-site interview that they forgot about.
