I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cisco (Newark, NJ)
Interview
Cisco came to my univsersity's career fair and I talked to one of the recruiters. Apparently I got his attention and when I was leaving the career fair, they called me to schedule for an interview the next day. The interview was about 30 minutes long and we mostly talked about my background and my resume.

Question 1
What makes you a good candidate to work for Cisco?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cisco (Haiderabad) in Jan 2017
Interview
aptitude test
group discussion, followed by two interviews.the first one was full of guesstimates and the other was behavioural, followed by hr round.test was simple with just basics of aptitude followed by GD on INDIA and Olympics. then the guesstimates round, the interviewer asked about 2 to 3 of them and was just interested in our way of thinking and least bothered about the final figures.the behavioural was just like the stereotyped ones.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Cisco (Durham, NC) in Sep 2016
Interview
The first interview was on campus, 45 minutes. They asked me basic personality questions (who is my role model, what do I look for in a friend, what am I most proud of) and then when I mentioned stats they asked me 2 very simple stats questions (what does R-squared mean, what does a positive slope in a regression mean). After that I heard back almost 2 months later. The next round was 2, 45 minute, online interviews, also only personality based questions. Honestly the whole process was very friendly and relaxed, but also a little vague. I'm not sure what they base their decisions on. Make sure you know your resume very well and be prepared to talk about things in a "STAR" method. Situation, task, action, results. Then if they have questions elaborate on the details.
