there was a Screening round then there was MCQ test when clearing that it is followed by technical round and then result given by call after a week and asked for documentation which takes time and passport is mandatory. Takes one month for joining the organisation with all process and offer letter.

I got a call for F2F interview for spark developer in big data/Hadoop through a consultancy. It was a one day process. There had been 3 rounds of interview:
1. Technical:- Questions have been asked from my current spark project (architecture and flow), Microsoft Azure cloud platform( I am working on this), mapreduce and some basic questions from spark like broadcast variable and accumulator. When to go for spark and mapreduce. How to fetch the parent directory path of datalake. I am working on spark using scala, so some questions based on that and why you are not using python,any experience on this. There are some more questions like this which I don't remember much.
2. Managerial:- It was not full managerial, as interviewer asked me some technical questions also. Explain my current spark project (again the same with some more details about architecture and work flow end to end), difference between map and flatmap and a few more which I don't remember now. Why looking for a change as you are already working in a good MNC and good skill. Questions from your strength and weakness mentioned in resume. Why you won't go for any other companies if you will get good offer there. And some more managerial level questions.
3. HR: Salary negotiation. Having 3.2 years of total experience and 2 years of experience in big data platform. As this was my first interview on big data platform, what I expected they didn't agreed but what they offered finally is also good to me. And I accepted the offer. I got the offer in 4 weeks from the date of interview.
My overall interview experience was good at CTS.
