Cognizant Programmer Analyst Trainee interview questions

My domain was Java, Mysql, Front-end. They asked from these topics only. Like asking to write some java code, sql query and asking various questions on front-end. Very few hr questions also.

I have applied through off campus. The interviewer was very humble and asked the variety of questions. My domain was c# and a lot of questions were asked regarding the language and OOPS in C#. Questions from SQL like stored procedure, real time use case of self join and why it is important, regarding the other joins. Questions from .NET and ASP.NET like how you implement authorization and authentication and int it and what is the difference between them.What are annotations and how data flow through your project, about REST APIs and how you create it. Related to the Javascript questions were asked. And a coding question with follow up was asked to code and explain the approach. The interview was hard and fast and I was expecting the GencNext role but however they assigned me the Genc role which was disappointed.
