I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cognizant (Coimbatore) in Dec 2010
Interview
The interview process consisted of a written aptitude round followed by a technical interview. They tested our proficiency on analytical, quantitative and verbal skills. They had a cut off for each and every section and shortlisted 2/5 of the candidates appeared for the interview process. The selected candidates then had a technical interview which was the final process of the interview. The interview for me was not difficult, the interviewer asked me about some basic questions from my resume and my academic projects.Thats it, I got the job offer by end of the day. The key things with such interviews are very simple. You need to know what you have on your resume and thats a pre-requisite for any job i would say and don't panic, be confident. That is what all it takes to have a job offer by end of the day.
