I interviewed at Cognizant (Bengaluru) in Oct 2020
Interview
There was an assessment consisting of basic quant questions, and if you pass the assessment, you get qualified for an interview round. The interview was virtual and he asked me all profile based and generic questions. He was checking my foundational knowledge on skills I mentioned on my resume.

Question 1
Questions based on resume, projects and skills. He gave me a maths teaser question, something about Work Time. I struggled a bit in that since I didnt expect such question, and even though I knew how to solve, I gave a delayed answer due to nervourness. He understood me and gave a chance to correct my answer. He then asked me what was the problem I encountered while solving and what could I have done differentely. I answered that the problem was simple, but if I saw it in different perspective I couldve solved quickly. He got the exact answer he was looking for, and was impressed. Overall he focused on my basic understanding of things, and my foundational knowledge.
