Interview
Waste of time. Broken phone line, repeatedly asked question 10 times to interviewer, requested him to type it down. Nobody seems to care.
Emailed recruiters bad experience with the interview as well. Did not even bother to respond. Brilliant strategy!! Dont reply and ignore candidates. Avoid at all cost.

Complete waste of time with 0 respect for its candidates
tl;dr of this post is - if you a recruiter, don't be like SA (his initials). If you are Databricks, you should be ashamed to have a recruiter like him.

I was reached out by "Technical Sourcer" from Databricks in June saying they expressed interested in me as a software engineer. I wasn't actively looking, but sure, I respond saying I am interested.
For two weeks, I replied a few times asking if they were still interested in setting up a time to chat, and then I get the following response:
"Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
We had a couple of onsites for this role last week and are in the process of moving forward with both of them hoping to bring one of them on board. Alas, timing is everything in recruiting. I wish you the best in 2018, and look forward to crossing paths in the future"
And guess what, a month later I received this email, I get the SAME email from the SAME person saying they saw my profile and thought I would be a right fit. Are you kidding me? What do you think I am - your backup option?
Complete waste of time and total disrespect for its candidates.
If you are a recruiter, don't be like SA at Databricks. Not even sure if he's a real person since I can't find him on LinkedIn.
