The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks (New Delhi)
Interview
Very lengthy process, many unnecessary rounds
Phone screening
Hiring manager
Take home assessment
Team 1 to 1
Presentation
Multiple Sync ups
Every round was excellent, they send prompt feedback and congratulations, finally one fine morning their position is put on hold.
In last sync up the skill is no match.
Total waste of time and energy. Also their budget is very limited, discuss salary expectations before proceeding. After 7 rounds of interviews they said they will try to match existing CTC.
Process does not align 100% with the job tasks. Too technical for a position focus on sales and customer facing. Overall process is clear and guidance is give all the time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks
Interview
The process was lengthy and not ideal. I spoke with multiple hiring managers, completed a take home test, and completed a technical screening to be told that there were more interview rounds. I accepted an offer from a competitor that began interviewing me almost a month after Databricks started my process.
The take home challenge was lengthy. I would expect an hour required but theirs took multiple coding sessions on my part. They probably filter out many candidates with their long process but it probably is also prohibitive to finding a lot of talent who are interviewing with multiple companies.
