Asked basic questions: what have i done so far? explain the projects you've worked on? and discussed when can i start?
worst part was that he told me he would get back in 48hrs, but then just ghosted me completely.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks in Mar 2025
Interview
5 rounds including recruiter screen - others have listed out the exact steps, and your recruiter will do the same. I found the process to be straightforward and fair. It may be more technically challenging for some depending on where your experience level is at in the cloud-first data & AI space. However, this is an experienced role and to me, the challenging parts of the process set a very fair expectation. The final step in the process, the panel interview, may also be more difficult for folks that lack prior sales / pre-sales / consulting experience. However, your hiring manager is your ally at this point, and will help you a lot to prepare as long as you utilize them properly.
Five rounds of interview. With the final one being a situational panel interview. Overall a positive experience. The hiring process take a while month and a half to complete and cane be tiresome.
