I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (Baltimore, MD) in Sep 2011
Interview
On-campus interview. They held many events to sell you on their company culture and etc. Afterwards, you go into a 2 day interview process including 2 cases. You don't need to know too much technical details. I have a feeling it's more about how personable you are.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied to Deloitte Consulting through our University career center as well as through Deloitte's career webpage. I received an email a few weeks later saying I had been selected for a first round interview on my University campus. That interview lasted about 45-50min and included a mix of behavioural and job specific technical questions. The interviewers essentially asked me to clarify each point that I had stated on my resume.
Once I cleared that round, I was invited to a cocktail/dinner party in Toronto where candidates had the chance to network with partners and senior managers within the firm (some of whom would be interviewing us the day after). This wasn't really an interview but more like a getting to know Deloitte sort of thing. The day after was the final round of interviews with the partners. I was interviewed by two partners and the questions were very behavioural and professional. It felt like they were seeing if I was worthy enough to be faced with a client. They also wanted to see if I was intellectual so they asked me a lot of questions on the economy, what type of books I read etc. All in all it was an interesting interview process. A few hours after I finished my interview I received a call from the partner to give me the good news!
