Why are you interested in Audit? Some basic Audit questions Some basic Accounting questions
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Zaventem) in Jun 2023
Interview
1) Quick screening 2) Group case : Quick presentation of yourself, presentation of the company, 15min to look at the case alone, 1h to prepare in group, 30min presentation and Q&A. They want to see if you're a good team mate, don't interrupt others, listen to them, and also you must participate. Ideally be confident and believe in what you say even if you know the solution to the case isn't great. 3) Manager interview. A bit more technical but don't worry, check basic accounting rules, debit/credit and have an idea about how audit works and you're good. 4) HR interview (probably right after manager). Classic HR question but more conversational, they help you be relaxed and are nice with you. They will test the languages written on your CV. 5) Partner interview. A bit harder to prepare because it's a bit less structured and more freestyle as we say. But don't stress too much, be yourself, try to be confident so you'll be able to have a conversation with the partner. It's a bit intimidating but they are nice. Ask smart questions at the end. After all this you receive a call for offer or for feedback. Most things you can be asked are on internet. Prepare a few stories showing the skills you say you have, practice saying them out loud and act confident!! It's very normal to be stressed and they know it, but don't be overwhelmed.
